The New Orleans natives latest band features guitar virtuoso Ray Anthony, who does a spot-on impersonation of Jimi Hendrix playing guitar with his teeth, local bassist Sannio and a new member, rhythm guitarist Hugo Bandi of Los Angeles. Roxy Roots, which opened last month and is Taipeis first club devoted to reggae and blues, is one of the latest ventures of Ling Wei (), the owner of the Taipeis long-standing chain of Roxy venues. Lawmen make 20 arrests Aug 1, 2009
Ray Anthony Camacho, 28, Port Lavaca, was arrested by PLPD for disorderly conduct by loud music and noise. Angel Flores, 22, Port Lavaca, was arrested by PLPD for unrestrained child, no insurance and expired registration. (Port Lavaca Wave, TX)
