"Monkeys interpret rising and falling tones differently than humans.     Consisting of Donny Simmons on guitar and vocals, Mark Fry on bass and John "Johnny B." Bartolotto on drums and vocals, the group plays some hard driving rock and pays homage to the power trio bands of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Led Zeppelin ... He cites the Rolling Stones, the Yard Byrds and Strawberry Alarm Clock as some of his early influences, but once you experience his solid drumming you ll agree with me that John Bonham of Led Zeppelin was a major influence also.
