The star of the afternoon - just like at Friday night's season-opening performance of Verdi's "Il Trovatore" - was soprano Sondra Radvanovsky, who reprised Leonora's Act 1 aria "Tacea la notte placida" with a degree of emotional fervor and tonal power undiminished by electronic amplification. She was joined by tenor Marco Berti and baritone Quinn Kelsey for the fiery trio from the end of that act. (San Francisco Chronicle)
