Murphy's Irish Pub has local bluegrass from the Sonoma Mountain Band tonight, Sept, 4, starting at 7 p.m. The band features Tom Martin and Dave Hamilton on guitars and even "the Journeyman," Corey Jennings, joins them on harmonica. In West Point, the 14th annual Howlin' Wolf Memorial Blues Festival Friday hits the right note (and temperature) with its indoor, air-conditioned show that toasts the influential native son who made his mark in blues song, guitar and harmonica.
