It was an exciting afternoon Sept. 9 as nearly 150 fourth-grade Miller students received brand new instruments and are now making their first attempts at sound and figuring out how to fit tiny fingers around the shiny keys of trumpets, flutes, clarinets, trombones and saxophones, or the smooth maple of drum sticks.
